Ascendant Access Ltd have battled through the last 12 months and are pleased to announce that not only have they survived a tough economic year but they have moved into a larger premises in order to satisfy a healthy order book.

The new site based at Unit 5 Earls Park North, Team Valley, Gateshead offers the Company an impressive 16,000sq ft and is a vital part of the continual growth and success of the products which continue to be designed by its owner and Managing Director Mr Steve Dean.

People & Employee Development

As an organisation Ascendant Access is committed to training and development for all of its employees.  The Company has recently engaged with local education and training establishments such as TDR Group and Access Training based in Gateshead and are currently supporting three apprentices.

Ascendant Access has worked closely with Northumbria University over the past two years and has recently recruited a graduate mechanical design engineer through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme.  Ascendant Access has been given access to all of the resources within the Centre of Excellence for Engineering.

The continued growth of Ascendant has been recognised by Mr Dean and resulted in the need to recruit extra personnel.  Mr Dean has successfully complemented his work force and increased the number of qualified mechanical fitters and electricians in his employment.

Ascendant Access continues to work tirelessly in striving for technical superiority backed up with a clear focus on fulfilling commitments to customers in terms of reliability and support.  The Ascendant team are looking forward to another exciting year in 2012!
