Ascendant Access grew out of Managing Director, Steve Dean’s, strong belief that British design and manufacturing can be as competitive as anyone else’s.

Already an industry veteran of almost 20 years he collaborated with the formation of the company in 2003 launching the Ascendant A22-17 platform which has already surpassed his expectations in its popularity with customers.The company’s philosophy is embraced in the well worn phrase “keep it simple”.

Already a significant manufacturer of vehicle mounted access platforms in the UK the company has put in place all of the necessary ingredients for a successful life in the export market.
